*When we are always looking for the best criteria for the fighters the rules are subdue to change for improvements.

To Enter:
You have to be a member of a club or gym.
You have to be more than 15 years old.
All styles (ex. Judo, Wrestling, Ju-jitsu, Karate, Kungfu and all MMA) can enter the tournament.

Entering Fee:
200 kr. / € 30 are to be paid when registered.
Entering fee is non refundable*.
(*If there is not enough fighters to start the weight class the entering fee will be returned.)

All clubs or gyms can have 1 coach.
All Teams can have 2 coaches.


Tournament:
To start a weight class there has to be min. 4 competitors.
All weight classes are divided into groups of 3-5 competitors.
All competitors in the same group will fight each competitor once to decide which 1 or 2 competitors will move on to the finales. (Quarter/Semi finales/3. place finale/Finale).
In case of equal won fights in a group. The finalist is the one who has won most fights on submission. There after the fastest submission in fight time.


Prizes:

1. Place in all weight classes - min. 1.000 kr.
Trophy and/or medals will be awarded to the 1. 2. and 3. Place in all weight classes.

Teams:
The team can have a maximum of 14 competitors.

Weight classes:

Woman
1: Lightweight under 66 kg.
2: Welterweight + 66 Kg. to 90 kg.

Men
1: Lightweight under 66 kg.
2: Welterweight 66 kg to 75.9 kg
3: Middleweight 76 kg to 85.9 kg
4: Light-Heavyweight 86 kg to 95.9 kg
5: Heavyweight 96kg. to 120 kg.

The competitors are responsible for making the weight for the assigned weight class on the day at weight inn.
If the competitor does not make the weight at the 1st. go he/she has one 2nd chance before tournament start.
If the competitor dos not make the weight at the 2nd chance he/she is disqualified.
There is a give ore take 200 gram on the weight scale.

Fight time:
Group fights is 4 minutes (+ 3 min. overtime)
Semi final and 3. Place fight is 5 minutes (+ 3 min. overtime)
Finale is 7 minutes (+ 3 min. overtime)
(If there is no winner in the end of ordnery fight time the competitors who first reach 3 points win)

Fight Area
Matches start from standing. Competitors who move outside the mat when standing can (at the discretion of the referee) be restarted standing in the centre of the mat. If competitors move outside the mat engaged on the ground the action may be frozen and moved back on the centre of the mat, in position. Deliberately or repeatedly moving outside the mat will be considered as stalling and penalized accordingly.

Equipment:
1. Approved fight shorts -no zipper (vale tudo shorts, board shorts or similar fight shorts).
2. Gi / Kimono (optional)
3. Mouth piece (optional).
4. Groin cup (optional).
5. Rash guard/t-shirt (optional).
6. Knee protection (optional).
7. Wrestling shoes (optional).

Approved techniques*:
1. Throws and takedowns are approved.
2. Any kind of choke (except for using the hand to close the wind pipe)
3. Any armbar, sholderlock or wrist look.
4. Any leg lock or ankle lock (except for heel hook)

(*All techniques must bee controlled. Techniques that courses injury of an opponent without the chance to submit leads to disqualification.)

Specific fouls:
1. Any kind of striking.
2. All throws, takedowns or slams where both fighters feat leave the mat and the weight of both fighters lands as deadweight on one.
3. All Neck cranks (full and half Nielson, Crucifix)

General fouls:
1. Rubbing the body with liniment or similar.
2. Excessive use of Vaseline (more then needed in the face)
3. Butting with the head, eye gouging of any kind, biting, hair pulling, fish hooking, groin attacks of any kind, putting a finger into any orifice or into any cut or laceration on an opponent, clawing/pinching/twisting the flesh, spitting at an opponent.
4. Small joint manipulation (fingers and toes)
5. Throwing/spiking an opponent to the canvas on his head or neck.
6. Throwing an opponent out of the matted area.
7. Throwing or lifting an opponent with a grip of head/neck only.
8. Holding the shorts and equipment of an opponent - except Gi.
9. Attacking an opponent on or during the break.
10. Attacking an opponent who is under the care of the referee.
11. Attacking an opponent after the bell has sounded the end of the period of unarmed combat.
12. Engaging in an unsportsmanlike conduct that causes an injury to an opponent.
13. Using abusive language.
14. Flagrantly disregarding the instructions of the referee.
15. Timidity, including, without limitation, avoiding contact with an opponent, intentionally or consistently dropping the mouthpiece or faking an injury.
18. Interference by the corner crew.

Good sportsmanship is expected at all times.

The Referee
The referee can stop or restart a match at any time if he considers it necessary for safety reasons.
The referee has FULL discretion to disqualify a competitor immediately after a serious, dangerous or deliberate foul. The referee's decision is final and non-negotiable.

Blood stoppage
2x one minutes will be allowed for a cut/nosebleed to stop bleeding.
If the cut/nosebleed continues to bleed after 2x one minutes the competitor will loos the fight.

Inactivity:
1. The referee will warn an inactive fighter after 20 seconds, after another 10 seconds of inactivity (total of 30 seconds) the referee will penalize the inactive fighter by giving the opponent 1 point
2. If the inactive fighter has a dominant pin-position (mount, side-mount, north-south or knee-on-belly) the fight will be stood up.

Points:*
A. Any kind of throw, sweep or takedown (except jumping into guard) 1 point
B. Passing the guard 1 point
C. Any kind of inversion or sweep 1 point
C. Mounting position 1 point
D. Back position with hooks 1 point

(Points are only used after ordinary fight time, except Inactivity points. The competitors who first reach 3 points win)

(To reseve a point for a throw, sweep or takedown you must keep your apponent on the ground in a dominating/pin possition for about 3 sek. Domminating/pin possitions: Mount, topmount, backmount, side-mount, knee-on-belly, topguard. For a possition to give point you must controll the posittion for about 3 sek.)


Ways to win:
1. Submission. If one of the competitors gives up or submits verbally or by tapping with hand. Or foot.
2. Point. After ordinary fight time, the competitors who first reach 3 points win. Inactivity points from the ordinary fight time is also included in the fight for the 3 points.
3. Referee's stoppage. If one of the competitors is unable to continue the fight, or if the referee. feels that one of the competitors is unable to defend him- or herself, the referee will declare the opponent as winner.
4. Disqualification. If a competitor breaks the rules twice or if the opponent is unable to continue the fight due to an illegal technique, the competitor will be disqualified.
